Election for the Board of DirectorsThe Michigan User Group is managed by a group of people we call the Board of Directors. Each year, MUG Members have the opportunity to cast their votes for the 6 people we'd like to see on the board. This is your chance to either run for a position on the board, or vote for the people you would most like to see on the board. Jorge is a former member of the Board of Directors of MUG and currently works for the UBUNTU guys formally known as Canonical Inc. Following Jorge's introduction we'll be opening up the discussion to similar tools.Everything Else As usual we'll discuss any current happenings in the Linux community, have our book giveaway, and plan on some dinner after the meeting where you can hammer our speakers with the hard hitting questions they deserve.
