Main Topic: Foo MUG - the unmeeting

We are going to do a different kind of meeting this month, the UNMEETING, in the style of O'Reilly's Foo Camp or Unconference as it is also called. This will be a loosely organized series of simultaneous break out sessions on whatever the people in attendance decide.

Mug member and seasoned Unconference organizer, Mark Ramm, will be on hand to lead us through how this type of meeting works. In his words, the people who show up at the meeting are the "right people" and the topics that are discussed are the "right topics". It's a meeting for the attendees, by the attendees.

Command of the month: rsync

In this month's Unix Command Line session, Duane Brown will tell us how he is using rsync for backup, and wants to know what you use rsync for.

Everything Else
As usual we'll discuss any current happenings in the Linux community, have our book giveaway, and plan on some dinner after the meeting where you can hammer our speakers with the hard hitting questions they deserve.

If you have topics for future meetings you would like us to cover please email the board, thanks.
