He's involved in something called "Hosted Apps" and he'll show us all about it.Command of the month: tputIn this month's Unix Command Line session, Raymond McLaughlin will show us the tput utility that uses the terminfo database to make terminal-dependent capabilities and information available to the shell. With this your shell scripts can initialize or reset the terminal, hide the cursor, set bold, underline, color and even blinking of the text on the screen.Everything Else As usual we'll discuss any current happenings in the Linux community, have our book giveaway, and plan on some dinner after the meeting where you can hammer our speakers with the hard hitting questions they deserve.
