Welcome to the home of the Michigan!/usr/group

We are the oldest Unix(tm) based user group in the Detroit area. We've been around since 1986. But, that doesn't mean that we are old farts. (well, some of us are). We've got lots of members, and we cover all kinds of Unix and Linux related topics at our monthly meetings.

Monthly, on the second Tuesday, we get together at the Main Branch of the Farmington Community Library. The meeting consists of a primary topic, a secondary topic, and the Unix/Linux shell command of the month.

Everything Else
As usual we'll discuss any current happenings in the Linux community, have our book giveaway, and plan on some dinner after the meeting where you can hammer our speakers with the hard hitting questions they deserve.
