Membership – Michigan!/usr/group

Meetings for the Michigan!/usr/group are free to attend, and we encourage everyone to attend our meetings. However, our group has expenses, and we encourage folks who participate in the Michigan!/usr/group to become members to help us defray these expenses.

Membership also provides the following benefits:

Voting rights for board elections (Individual, Corporate and Student members only)
Nomination rights for the board (you can nominate yourself or someone else to be on the Michigan!/usr/group board)
A warm sense of belonging and supporting a great organization of like-minded UNIX and Linux professionals and enthusiasts.

New Membership

Membership for individuals is $50 for 12 months. We also offer Student Discounts (with student ID) or Corporate Sponsorships. Please contact us at board@mug.org prior to selecting these options for more information.

We also offer online-only memberships for folks who are not able to attend meetings in person but still wish to contribute to the group. Those memberships are $10 for 12 months of membership.
