Plaintext Accounting is a genre of accounting that involves simple formatted
text files containing your transaction records, and a program to report what
you need to know about your finances from those files. Simple to understand,
simple to implement, and simple to keep updated using the tools and techniques
for handling text that you’re used to! Take control of your money today!

Scott Balneaves is a longtime MUG member, retired systems administrator, Ledger
user for 10 years, bon-vivant, raconteur, and general Man-about-town.
